Dr. Daniel Forchheimer received his PhD from KTH in 2015. He has worked extensively with analysis of Intermodulation AFM data to extract physical parameters and enhance image contrast. Daniel is a co-founder of Intermodulation Products and the chief executive officer since 2021. He specializes in sales, software development and scanning probe microscopy-related products.

Dr. Erik A. Tholén received his PhD from KTH in 2009. His work on parametric amplification in nonlinear superconducting resonant circuits lead to the development of Intermodulation AFM. His postdoctoral work centered on the development of the first Intermodulation Lock-in Analyzer. Erik co-founded Intermodulation Products and was the CEO from inception in 2010 to 2021. He specializes in hardware and software development.

Dr. Riccardo Borgani has two Master degrees, one from Politecnico di Milano and one from KTH. He received his PhD from KTH in 2018. His thesis developed Intermodulation Electrostatic Force Microscopy (ImEFM), as well as a fast, low-noise method to reconstruct nonlinear current-voltage characteristics for conducting AFM and STM (ImCFM). He went on to perform postdoctoral work at KTH working on fast readout of superconducting qubits. Riccardo joined Intermodulation Products full-time in 2022 after having been on the board and scientific advisory board for several years.

MSc Mats Tholén has a masters degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Linköping University. He has many years of experience working in various industries with low-level programming of field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA). He is currently pursuing a PhD in quantum engineering within the Wallenberg Center for Quantum Technology (WACQT).

Dr. Marina Kudra received her PhD from Chalmers University of Technology in 2023. Her area of expertise is quantum computing with superconducting circuits and more specifically bosonic qubits. Marina is our application specialist and she will help you accelerate your research by integrating our products into your lab.

Prof. Haviland received his PhD in 1989 from the University of Minnesota, with postdoctoral studies at Chalmers. He is currently a professor of Nanostructure Physics at KTH, leading a research group that studies nonlinear oscillations in both classical and quantum systems. He is a member of the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences and is a co-founder of Intermodulation Products.
